Street Photography - Christian Tapia

In order to take these photos of these two people I had to confront them and ask if I may take a picture of them for my photography class. They both agreed and I took the photo. For my first photo I had the man stand there holding the door, it was his decision to smile so I took advantage of that. For the second photo I asked if the woman can stare at the camera and I took the picture. I filled the frame and tried to focus on them as much as possible. Going up to random strangers and asking if you can take a picture of them is very awkward. What I did was ask politely and most of the time I received a polite response. This was my first time so I was nervous but after this experience I will be more comfortable asking people.
