For our last trip, we went to Times Square in NYC. This trip was different from many others because instead of leaving in the morning and spending the day, we left in the afternoon and spent the night. By taking pictures at night, I was able to take many photos that I would not be able to during the day. For example, in two of my photos, I was able to capture bright, flashy lights, while maintaining a very dark background. Doing this in bright daylight would not be possible. Also, taking pictures in Times Square helped. There were colorful and bright lights all around, giving many of my photos more variety in color overall.
