The reason behind this trip was that we wanted to see how New York was at night time and how the lights would react. As you can see in the pictures above, the lights came out the way they did in the top and bottom picture because the shutter speed was set to be open for for a longer time. This was able to be accomplished by using the TV mode which stands for "time value" mode, this is how the light reacted the way they did. For the picture in the middle i set the shutter speed to be open for a very minimal amount of time but set the aperture so that light could come in, and the results where fantastic. Overall the trip in my opinion was a success and i could not have been any more happy with the outcome.
