Evening/Night at Times Square- Ian
We went on the NYC trip in the evening/night time in order to capture pictures that we were not able to during the day time. One type of photos that came out differently at night were the bottom up pictures of buildings with the sky in the background. These pictures evoked a completely different mood than the same picture would have in the daytime. Also, the scale of the building is harder the see with the sky being black. Another type of picture I was able to take was photos with light drawing. I was able to do this by extending the shutter speed and shaking the camera after pressing the shutter button. This technique completely distort the photo, however, it creates an abstract display of lights.
